How can I transfer billing and invoice management to another team member?

Option 1: Update billing email only

1. Go to Organization Settings → Billing → Manage Billing

2. In Stripe, update the billing email address

3. This person will receive invoices but won't have GitBook access

Option 2: Transfer admin access

1. Make the new person an Admin in your organization

2. They can then access Organization Settings → Billing

3. Update payment method and billing details as needed

4. Remove your admin access if desired

Option 3: Change organization ownership

• Add the new person as an Admin

• Remove other admins if you want single control

• The admin can manage all billing and team settings

Important considerations:

• Only organization Admins can access billing settings

• Billing email changes only affect who receives invoices

• Payment method changes require access to the Stripe billing portal
